As you know, the BG-Filcoten family is a Greenpipe exclusive for the Italian market. Today, we present a new addition to this line: the BG-Filcoten One Urban. Thanks to its numerous innovations and D 400 load class, it combines a high number of useful properties into a single product, making it versatile and perfect for urban spaces.
As with other BG-Filcoten products, One Urban is manufactured using the innovative BG-Filcoten HPC (High Performance Concrete), a material that combines excellent technical and durability properties with an optimized structure to create lightweight and extremely resistant drainage channels. What makes it truly unique, however, is its ability to combine maximum performance with minimum environmental impact. Thanks to its very low weight, BG-Filcoten One Urban allows for quick and easy installation, while the robust and non-deformable concrete elements ensure maximum strength, stability, and durability, as well as high compressive strength—exceeding specific regulatory requirements—and resistance to extreme temperatures, UV rays, and de-icing agents. It is an ideal solution for any sustainable building project
In short: a unique idea for a revolutionary result. Indeed, BG-Filcoten One Urban combines two aspects often considered opposites: maximum performance and minimum environmental impact. Main application areas include gardens and private green spaces, sports facilities, cycle paths, pedestrian zones, and city and urban roads. Its specially redesigned trapezoidal shape offers numerous advantages: in particular, better anchoring in the concrete haunching and optimized structural safety. The wide base of the channel allows for stable positioning during installation and, thanks to its structure, the filling joint forms automatically in areas with curbs or raised sections.
Naturally, as a BG-Filcoten product, 100% green energy is used in the production of One Urban channels, almost entirely eliminating the use of fossil fuels, with LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) verification: low greenhouse gas emission levels, exclusive use of green energy, and a resource-efficient production process for concrete actions for the future of our planet.
