BIG47_S I

BIG 47_S I self-supporting channels for porous asphalt are made of concrete with a minimum class of 50/60 and 47mm thick walls. These elements are certified self-supporting up to load class D400 according to the EN 1433 standard. They also offer superior resistance to atmospheric agents and adverse climatic conditions, as per the classifications for freeze/thaw (classification +R) and resistance to weathering (classification +W).

Thanks to specific lateral holes, the channel ensures optimal/high drainage designed for use with porous asphalt in road and motorway environments.

BIG47S_I channels, quick and safe to install, are supplied with pre-assembled cast iron gratings. The “bolt + nut” fastening system guarantees stability thanks to an anti-loosening mechanism. They are also equipped with ductile iron “Z” reinforcement profiles with KTL treatment, which increase resistance to corrosion.

The channels are provided with a male-female interlocking system for better stability during installation and a special groove for complete sealing of the joint.
