Thanks to the lateral perforations integrated into the profile, the system promotes rapid absorption of rainwater directly from the porous surface. This feature ensures optimal hydraulic performance and effectively contributes to preventing aquaplaning.
The profiles, manufactured from materials highly resistant to corrosion caused by contact with the surrounding environment, provide the entire structure with greater compactness and superior protection against wear due to vehicular traffic.
The channels are also equipped with a practical tongue-and-groove joint, which ensures better stability during installation, and a dedicated groove for complete joint sealing, guaranteeing watertight system integrity.
The SMART PRO drainage channel range is manufactured from vibro-compacted concrete characterized by:
- High compressive strength (minimum class C50/60 – fck = 50 N/mm² and Rck = 60 N/mm²).
- Resistance to freeze/thaw cycles in the presence of stagnant water containing de-icing salts (+R classification according to EN 1433).
- Resistance to weathering (W classification according to EN 1433).
