The BIG47 range supports 3 load classes in accordance with EN1433: D400, E600, and F900.
The series of grates compatible with the channels is available in many variants:
- anti-heel mesh in ductile cast iron with “bolt + nut” fastening (E600) for channels with internal nominal width 100-150
- anti-heel slots in ductile cast iron with “bolt + nut” fastening (D400, E600, and F900)
For our channels with internal dimensions of 200 or greater, solid covers with load class E600 are available.
The channels, with wall thickness of 47 mm, are equipped with “Z”-shaped reinforcement profiles perfectly anchored to the concrete body to prevent detachment during operation. The profiles, made of materials resistant to corrosion from contact with the surrounding environment, provide the product with compactness and protection against wear from traffic.
The channels are equipped with tongue-and-groove joints for better stability during installation and a special groove for complete joint sealing.
BIG47 channels are supplied with grates already mounted and fastened with an M10 “bolt+nut” system (anti-loosening bolt).
To complete the BIG47 system, channels with bottom outlet (DN equal to the nominal width up to a maximum of 200 mm), discharge manholes with debris collection baskets, and end caps are available.
BIG47 is a range compliant with European standard EN1433 and equipped with mandatory CE marking.
The BIG47 drainage channel range is made of concrete with high compressive strength, (minimum class C50/60 – fck = 50N/mm2 and Rck=60N/mm2), resistant to freeze/thaw cycles in the presence of stagnant water containing de-icing salts (classification +R according to EN1433) and to attack from atmospheric agents (classification W according to EN1433).
