The channels, with 100mm thick walls, are equipped with cast iron reinforcement profiles perfectly anchored to the concrete body to prevent detachment during operation.
Their internal dimensions ensure significant storage capacity.
The profiles, made of cast iron and treated with cataphoresis (KTL) for enhanced corrosion resistance from contact with the surrounding environment, provide the structure with compactness, protection against traffic-induced wear, and greater grating stability.
The channels feature a tongue-and-groove joint for improved stability during installation and have extremely smooth internal walls for optimal water flow.
The range complies with EN1433 standard up to class F900/Type I and carries mandatory CE marking.
With their 460-liter volume, BIG TANK channels guarantee substantial storage capacity, useful where it is not possible to manage the flow of collected water through numerous outlets.
BIG TANK is designed in a single version with internal dimensions of 500x4000mm, but channels with lower heights can be manufactured upon request.
The channels are equipped with dedicated lifting anchors for handling during loading/unloading and installation. Units with pre-installed outlets can also be manufactured upon request.
The BIG TANK self-supporting drainage channel range is manufactured in cast reinforced concrete with high compressive strength (minimum class C55/67 – fck = 55 N/mm² and Rck = 67 N/mm²), resistant to freeze/thaw cycles in the presence of stagnant water containing de-icing salts (+R classification according to EN1433 standard) and to attack from atmospheric agents (W classification according to EN1433 standard).
