Technical cable ducts
Thanks to their robust and modular structure, Greenpipe concrete channels, in addition to performing their function of conveying water, can also be used as technical channels, serving as protected housing for power lines, data networks, cabling, compressed air piping, and other plant infrastructure.
They find application in various contexts, from production sites to laboratories, from conference halls to sports facilities, up to temporary installations such as trade fair pavilions, where plant configurations may vary from time to time.
All technical channels are extremely robust, made of vibro-compressed concrete (Type M) or reinforced cast concrete (Type I – self-supporting). They are complete with KTL-treated cast iron profiles and closed by ductile iron covers in class E600, suitable for areas with high axial loads and frequent heavy vehicle crossings, each secured with 4 screws for greater protection against accidental opening or sabotage. The screw and nut fastening system ensures the possibility of opening and closing the covers many times (nuts are replaceable if lost or damaged). The covers overlap slightly: while not guaranteeing a perfect watertight seal, they prevent most dirt from entering the channel.
