Technical cable ducts

Thanks to their robust and modular structure, Greenpipe concrete channels, in addition to performing their function of conveying water, can also be used as technical channels, serving as protected housing for power lines, data networks, cabling, compressed air piping, and other plant infrastructure.
They find application in various contexts, from production sites to laboratories, from conference halls to sports facilities, up to temporary installations such as trade fair pavilions, where plant configurations may vary from time to time.

All technical channels are extremely robust, made of vibro-compressed concrete (Type M) or reinforced cast concrete (Type I – self-supporting). They are complete with KTL-treated cast iron profiles and closed by ductile iron covers in class E600, suitable for areas with high axial loads and frequent heavy vehicle crossings, each secured with 4 screws for greater protection against accidental opening or sabotage. The screw and nut fastening system ensures the possibility of opening and closing the covers many times (nuts are replaceable if lost or damaged). The covers overlap slightly: while not guaranteeing a perfect watertight seal, they prevent most dirt from entering the channel.

Features

Simple assembly
The channels are equipped with a male/female system for better alignment during assembly and a sealing groove for the various elements. Thanks to the modularity of the channels, it is possible to create lines with flexible configurations, reaching every point of the surface to be serviced.
Suitable for heavy load traffic
The robustness of Greenpipe channels, combined with the high load class of the covers, makes the system suitable for traffic and transit even by frequent heavy loads (forklifts, steering trucks, and other types of heavy-load vehicles).
Safety first
Burying these infrastructures is the safest and least invasive method of operation, avoiding tripping hazards and equipment damage while making the surrounding environment tidier, cleaner, and safer. The anti-slip elements on the covers also ensure the stability of operators walking on them.
Non-flammable
While plastic drainage channels are flammable, concrete channels, made of minerals, can be considered non-combustible (class A1).
CE Marking
GREENPIPE channels comply with European standard EN1433 and bear the mandatory CE marking.
0% harmful substances
GREENPIPE channels are free from artificial resins and solvents. They are therefore harmless to the environment and to workers during the production phase.
