We know that there is a time for everything and the rhythm of the seasons has always been useful for this as well: planning, storing away, usage, and rest represent the various phases that, throughout the year, encourage taking care of available resources.
Water is certainly one of these.
The drought in Europe in the summer of 2022 was the worst in the last 500 years. This is indicated by data from the European Earth observation program Copernicus, managed by the European Commission and the European Space Agency. Data from the Global Drought Observatory also tells us that last summer nearly half of the European territory was in alarming conditions.
At the same time, other areas were subject to floods and inundations. In short, within the span of just a few months, we have seen how water can be a resource to be protected or, if left uncontrolled, a threat.
Thus, during this winter, which is the season of reflection par excellence, and hoping of course that we have left the worst moments behind us, we have further reflected on the importance of water management and the necessary drainage systems. That is to say, the heart of our work and our projects, and the substance of our products.
For example, our drainage tunnels are concrete elements that we use for the construction of stormwater management and infiltration basins. They represent a valid alternative to conventional drainage systems, considering that the increasing urbanization of the territory often makes rainwater disposal networks insufficient, creating flooding risks in residential centers and cultivated areas.
These chamber modules can be used for the construction of storage and dispersion basins for stormwater and wastewater in civil, commercial, or industrial areas, under green spaces, parking lots, sidewalks, cycle paths, and roads. What distinguishes this product from others (such as soakaways, stone drainage, and plastic crates) is its superiority in terms of higher useful volumes, high structural strength, and load-bearing capacity at lower costs.
This, then, is our time.
We can try not to waste it. Exactly like water.
